- 대취타 Daechwita
조선시대에 왕이 궁궐 밖으로 거동할 때나 군대가 행진할 때 연주하던 음악으로, 태평소?용고?나발?나각?징?자바라의 6가지 악기로 구성되며, 등채의 호령에 의해 연주가 시작되고 끝을 맺는다.
Daechwita was a royal processional music played during the Joseon Dynasty when the king moved outside the palace or the army marched. This music is played on the street, so it uses loud percussion and wind instruments, and Jipsa holds baton called Deungchae and announces the beginning and the end of the music. - 무산향 Musanhyang
무산향은 조선 후기 순조 때 효명세자가 창제한 궁중무용으로, 장중하면서도 활발한 느낌을 준다. 본래는 대모반 위에서 추는 독무이나, 오늘 무대에서는 대모반 없이 3인이 함께 구성하였다.
Musanhyang is a royal dance created by Hyo-myung Crown Prince during King Soonjo period in the late Joseon Dynasty. Originally, this is solo dance performed on the Daemoban, which is a movable stage, but today’s performance will be performed by three dancers without Daemoban. - 수제천 Sujecheon
수제천은 발생연대가 백제 때로 추정될 만큼 오랜 역사를 지닌 음악이다. 장엄하고 화려한 관악 합주곡으로, 궁중의 연향과 왕세자의 행차 등에 사용되었으며, 1970년에 프랑스에서 개최된 제1회 유네스코 아시아음악제의 최우수 전통음악으로 선정되기도 하였다.
Sujecheon is one of the most historic pieces currently playing in Korea and it is a majestic and colorful piece of the song. This song was used during the royal banquet and the royal procession. It was also selected as the best traditional music of the first UNESCO Asia Music Festival held in France in 1970. - 한량무 Hallyangmu
한량무는 ‘예술을 알고 스스로 즐기는 남자인 한량이 멋스럽게 놀면서 자연과 삶에 대한 즐거움과 재미를 느낀다’는 내용을 표현한 무용으로, 한손에 부채를 들고 추는 춤사위가 여유롭게 느껴지는 가운데 즉흥적으로 자아내는 흥이 돋보인다.
Hallyangmu is a performance dance that expresses ‘a pleasure-seeking nobleman, or hallyang, with an understanding of art enjoying himself and taking pleasure in nature and life.’ This dance, which shows a hallyang dressed as a scholar and holding a fan, excels at presenting movements of leisure that evoke also spontaneity. - 산조합주 Sanjo ensemble
산조는 남도의 무속음악을 모체로 발달한 독주곡이다. 진양-중모리-중중모리-자진모리 등 갈수록 빨라지는 장단 틀 안에서 자유롭게 선율을 엮어나가며, 연주자의 기량과 악기의 성능을 한껏 발휘한다. 이번 무대는 산조를 합주로 편성하였다.
Sanjo is a solo song that developed the shamanistic music of Jeolla province as its roots, and starts with a slow rhythm, and becomes faster and faster. It is instrumental music that can express a soloist’s creative interpretation and techniques. Today’s concert will be organized as ensemble.
